Prudence

Pru is a New Zealander currently living and teaching in Mexico. Prior to coming to Mexico she spent a year teaching English in Surgut, Siberia. Pru has taught a wide range of students, from teens to adults, personalising the classes to suit individual needs. Although she teaches some formal courses, Pru prefers conversation style classes, believing them to be a more natural way to learn a language. At university, Pru studied Linguistics and Management. She uses what she learned in Linguistics to help students improve their pronunciation.

Before becoming an English teacher, Pru had a 23-year career in Banking and Finance, plus management positions in the telecommunications industry and the liquor industry. She also spent a year working in the recruitment industry previous to entering university.
