Matthew

Matthew holds an MA degree from one of the top 10 universities in the US in Modern Languages.  He has taught English in the US, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Germany and Kazakhstan.  As a young teenager his family moved to Germany and he attended German schools, so he knows first-hand the challenges and rewards of learning a second language.  He speaks fluent German and some Russian.  As a child he lived in Great Britain as well, so his accent is very neutral and he is quite aware of the differences between British and American English.  
Although he believes grammar is important, he likes to focus on practical, everyday English with an emphasis on real-life situations.
