Heather

Heather is a qualified, experienced, energetic teacher who is passionate about helping her students succeed. For eight years, this high school and college educator has taught English to students ranging widely in age and skill level from all over the world. Her qualifications include a Bachelors’ Degree in English--Creative Writing Concentration, a Masters’ Degree in Education, and a Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Heather, who is based in the aerospace and technology hub of Washington State, has worked for the Microsoft Corporation helping people living in countries outside of the United States become employees, so she is familiar with the level of English language proficiency it takes to get a job at a top firm operating in the global market. Heather believes that learning additional languages is an important endeavor that keeps one’s brain sharp and helps unite people, building bridges to better understanding and, consequently, a better world.
